Boc-Hydrazido PEG Derivatives
The protected hydrazine may be liberated by treating the Boc group with acid. The hydrazine group is used to conjugate carbonyl compounds like aldehydes or ketones with the formation of hydrolysable and pH sensitive hydrazone links.
