ɑ-Methoxy-ω-Formyl PEGs
Methoxy PEG aldehydes are pegylation reagents reactive towards amines (forming imine bonds) or hydrazines (forming hydrazone bonds). If imines are not reduced to secondary amines, these bonds can be cleaved by hydrolysis to reverse pegylation.
