Polymer bound scavengers are important tools for removal of excess reagents or side products in solution phase combinatorial chemistry. ScavengePore is based on a macroporous high crosslinked polystyrene/DVB resin matrix. The permanent porosity provides a broad range of solvent compatibility. The pore size is in the range of 30 - 50 nm.
In contrast to standard Gel® type low crosslinked polystyrene/DVB resins swelling is significantly reduced. A particle size of 200 - 400 µm allows easy filtration.
Polymer bound weak acid. Scavenger resin for amines and other basic compounds, weak acid ion exchanger.
